This DVD presents an archived 1989 performance, for research purposes, by Carol Téten’s Dance Through Time company. In period costume, dancers take viewers through transitions from Jazz, Latin, and Rock, including performances of the Cakewalk, Charleston, Jitterbug, and the Big Apple, and recreations of the mod, psychedelic, and disco movements. The performance draws from years of research from original sources and archives.
