This 45 minute research-film is an unpeeling of: What HBCU danceline genre is, Why HBCU Danceline is what it is, How HBCU Danceline came to be, Where it can be found, What makes a good danceline, and; Who these women are. We used a combination of narrative interviews, cinematic portraits, and archival footage to piece this beautiful and glittering tale together.
